Vin has been pushing the operating envelope on data in some of the largest global companies for over 20 years, delivering solutions as well as advising C-suite staff and Chief Architects. Vin has the ability to plan, lead, put in place road maps, integrate with a global or local team, and to manage “disruptive” new data technology into a positive force for the enterprise.
Vin has advised U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission on how to implement data governance to monitor and manage billions of transactions; advised a large innovative data-driven investment management firm on how to scale their data operations; directed a 100+ resource Global Enterprise Data Governance and Data Warehouse development program at Citigroup as well as implementing their Data Governance program and managing client-facing analytic dashboards. For a large global bank he delivered a 100 million account and customer Master Data Management solution, using DWL (now IBM Infosphere) product set, including near-real-time analytics on new account openings and consumer product acquisition activity. Vin managed from conception through delivery multiple customer profitability data warehouse analytic solutions for large global banks, including JP Morgan Chase. Vin was awarded CIO Magazine award for a Client Profitability Platform, and top 100 integrated applications IT Manager of the Year Award from Oracle Magazine. As Chief Architect for Data Warehousing and Analytics for the Finance function at JP Morgan Chase, achieved a balanced delivery-oriented strategy as well as a multi-year roadmap for evolution. Was an early adopter of ETL tools, recognizing their ability to reduce time to market for analytic solutions.
